Kiana attends IDEA Burke College Prep in San Antonio, Texas. Her favorite book is The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton because it reignited her love of reading, allowing her to go back to imagining the world from just words on pages. As she gets older and begins to read books that are outside of her comfort zone she’s started realizing how much books have to offer, from fantasy action scenes to realistic depictions of life. If other girls can find their love for reading again through Girls for Books, it means she has done something impactful.
