If you love reading and want to share that passion—whether to earn volunteer or community service hours for school or simply for fun, then the GFB Contributor Program is for you. There are no age limits, no location requirements, and no experience needed. Anyone who enjoys books is welcome!
GFB Contributor Program
What does being a Contributor involve?
Being a contributor is easy, flexible, and completely on your schedule. All you have to do is:
- Read a book you enjoy (any genre, any age level)
- Submit a book review on the form at the end of this page based on a template that is located in the form and on the page.
- Repeat whenever and as often as you’d like
You can submit unlimited reviews, at any time, and at any frequency. The contributor form has unlimited attempts!
Volunteer Hours & Recognition
Each book review you submit earns one hour of volunteer or community service. These hours are eligible for National Honor Society, the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, and any other activity or organization you need volunteer hours for. We will be able to sign off on those hours. Just email us at info@girlsforbooks.org and we will confirm your work and sign off on the hours.
In addition, your name, school/organization if applicable, and review will be featured on our website and social media, helping you build credibility for college applications, high school résumés, leadership portfolios, and anything else you may need.
