We are launching GFB Book Club Starter Kits created with educators in mind. Each kit is designed to make starting—or strengthening—a school book club simple, flexible, and meaningful. Inside, you’ll find carefully selected books, ready-to-use discussion guides, and adaptable activities that support literacy, critical thinking, and student voice, without adding to your prep load.
These kits are for educators who want to foster a reading community but may not have the time, funding, or institutional support to build one from scratch. If cost is a barrier, kits can be donated, ensuring that access to books and discussion is never limited by a school’s resources. Our kits also support educators who wish to engage students with banned or challenged texts but face restrictions in their state.
We believe educators deserve tools that respect professional judgment and give students space to think deeply, question thoughtfully, and read widely.
