Hello to all our beloved readers!

We have not posted for a long time, but we also have not forgotten about all of you! Though various other commitments overtook our consistency in posting, we have still been the same voracious readers as always and we are excited to restart this literary journey again with you all.

Recently, we took our initiative of girl empowerment and increasing reading in today’s youth to the regional Speak Up Speak Out civics fair. We ended up winning first place in the high school division!

We advanced to the state Speak Up Speak Out fair, in which we will compete at in March. Until then, we wanted to start posting again so that we can begin to take steps into our project. We have a lot of ideas to turn both Girls for Books and Bookwanderers into something amazing, and we would really appreciate it if you all read our posts and spread the word about our initiative across your communities.
